The Story

I got into DevOps the same way most people do — I was a developer who got tired of saying "it works on my machine" and decided to do something about it. That was the beginning of a rabbit hole that led me through Dockerfiles, Helm charts, Terraform modules, and three different Kubernetes clusters (two of which I deliberately destroyed as learning exercises).

The coffee obsession started around the same time. There's something about the precision required for a good espresso — the variables, the feedback loops, the constant iteration — that resonates deeply with how I think about infrastructure. Both reward patience, attention to detail, and a willingness to throw out what isn't working and start again.

This blog is where I document what I learn. It's part technical reference for my future self, part attempt to explain complex concepts in a way that actually makes sense, and part love letter to the intersection of craft and technology.
